Is it me, or does this man have an incredible voice? I feel like he could have the lead in The Phantom,Les Miserables,Little Shop of Horrors,Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde and several other amazing titles from Broadway.
So many people complaining he got the words wrong in the first verse; it happens. Not every performance can be perfect. I'm glad he didn't even show that he made a mistake, he just kept going. He sounds fantastic.
I agree. Having heard him as Scarpia in Tosca I thought he was an obvious choice for Javert in the movie. He has the voice and would have brought a dramatic tension to the role (both sung and said) that Russell Crowe was, predictably, unable to bring.
